President’s Distinguished Club Award For STMC!
SilTerra Toastmasters Club Achieved the President’s Distinguished Club Award for the term 2007-2008 Presented by the International President of Toastmasters 2007-2008 DTM Chris Ford During District 51 Annual Convention 2008 Gala Banquet, Gurney Hotel, Penang.

The Distinguished Club Program (DCP) gauges the achievement and performance of a Toastmasters Club, which is the Toastmasters Version of a KRA. If a club is able to achieve all the goals prescribed then we will have successful club that meets the vision and mission of Toastmasters.
We are proud to announce that SilTerra Toastmasters Club for the 6th Consecutive Term was accorded the President’s Distinguished Club Award for the term 2007-2008 under the leadership of our President CC CL Chare Mannek for achieving 9 out of 10 DCP Goals.
The Award Presentation was done during the District 51 Annual Convention 2008 Gala Banquet held at Gurney Hotel on 19th of April 2008. SilTerra Toastmasters were there in full force to have fun and be recognized for their achievements. It was indeed a splendid night of fun, food, fellowship and recognition. A total of 600 odd Toastmasters from Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei were present. Another feather to the cap is SilTerra Toastmasters Club is also the home club of the Division N Governor for the Term 2007/2008 ACB CL Palaniappa Subramaniam. Division N was one of the 2 divisions that hosted this Annual Convention in Penang. On the whole the experience, growth, learning, fellowship and memories we had that evening will last a lifetime.
